Chicago Storm Special Hockey (CSSH) is dedicated to providing children and adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to play hockey. CSH team members range in age from 5 to 55, and include both male and female athletes. The team is comprised of players that have Autism, Down Syndrome or other intellectual disabilities. We have over 100 players and continue to grow! We practice at 5 rinks across Chicagoland area.
Safety of our players is our #1 concern. Chicago Special Hockey strives to promote and emphasize the development of sportsmanship, team spirit, increased confidence and pride! We provide a safe environment for players to grow and enjoy hockey. Your player and your entire family will be a part of our family!
WE ARE CHICAGO STORM SPECIAL HOCKEY!
Courage. Spirit. Heart.
Every manager, coach, volunteer and junior coach helps make our team be the best it can be. No members of our staff receive any compensation for their time invested on or off the ice! Our compensation is the smiles, thank yous, hugs and high-fives we receive from the players as they go by!
We currently play at 5 different rinks across Chicagoland!
